Fitness and Stress

Balance is key here. Like the famous three bears, just the right amount of the right type of fitness activity is paramount to success. Too little activity can lead to a variety of complications, including obesity. On the other hand too much exercise can even lead to imbalances which include the production of excessive of the stress hormone cortisol, which can contribute to diabetes, as well as other problems. The right amount of exercise may lead to the feel good chemical, endorphins, confidence building muscle tone and appropriate body weight.
Balanced fitness programs also include the right amount of activity to enhance endurance, strength, flexibility and agility - and are uniquely appropriate as one size does not fit all.
